This was a Bare Elements Maria Purse-Half Moon (made by Creative Imaginations)
I covered the purse with the New Websters Paper Line "Life's Portrait" and distressed it with Tim Holtz "Black Soot" distressing ink. All of cuts were made with my bug using "Forever Young" cartridge. A few items were embossed with my cuddlebug and various folders then give dimension using pop dots. And for the final touch on is the black cording purchased at Jo-Ann's.
The frame was covered the same way using the distressing ink and cording. (Frame was just $1.00 at Michaels)
Such darling projects! Thanks for sharing with us and I can't wait to see what you bling next!

ReplyDeleteHi Wendy,
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting these. I love the look of altered frame. Could you please tell me the paper you used on the frame?? If you have some time could you please post instructions for altering these frames. I have my in-laws 40th anniversary coming up and looking forward to altering two frames. One picture will be from 40 years ago and another a more recent one.
Thanks,
Rama.
