Yes- Ladies this is a 12x12 Canvas. I started with 2x2 pieces of paper and just covered the edges of one square with the next 2x2 square that I am using next. I recommend that you start by just laying them out until you find the pattern that you like. As far as the embellishments-well use what you want. This paper is actually retired SU paper. I just love this paper. Carts used were-Oh! A little of everything... (ha, ha)
I can't do anything unless I distress it. So I distressed the edges of the canvas. As always-let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy!
Well if that isn't the coolest canvas I have ever seen. Who would have thought of doing this but you. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThis project is awesome! Very pretty. Shari (cricutrookie)
ReplyDeleteWow! Awesome idea, especially for those of us that have some scraps of paper we LOVE, but don't know how to use.
ReplyDeleteOne question: Can you tell me where you got those little crochet flowers? If you made them yourself, please don't tell me, I'll only be jealous. :)
Very Cute!
ReplyDeleteI have a quesiton, if you covered the edges of one square with the next 2x2 square that you were using next, is that how you achieved the slight border around that canvas? Also, what did you use to adhere them? This is a wonderful idea! I need something for my living room and this would be great!
ReplyDeleteThis is PHENOMENAL!! Just GORGEOUS!! You are so creative!!
ReplyDeleteOH WOW!!! I love this!! I have a few canvases that I picked up at big lots about a year ago...I need to try this!!!! You did such an excellent job!!!!
ReplyDeleteTFS!
I do have a question, do I need to prep them with gesso, or paint, because coming from big lots, I don't think they are primed already.
Thanks so much in advance!!! :)
