Is it Spring/Easter yet?

Ok-Maybe I am rushing it but these cartridges are sooo cute.
I made these 2 cards with the Easter cart and the new "Lucy Bird" paper.
The Chocolate bunny was embossed and chalked with white. I also added stickles in yellow for his eyes. And the chick's, grass and "Happy Easter" was distressed and a little bling added.

Mother's Day cartridge tomorrow and another altered item.....

Altered Coasters

I took a picture of the before. It is just a regular cardboard coaster. This one happens to be from Bubba Gumps.

I covered with paper and punched holes in the top. Sanded and inked the edges. I used my cricut and embellished.
Supplies:
Cartridge-Winter Woodland
Paper is Eskimo Kisses by Basic Grey
Tim Holtz Distressing Ink
Stampin Up ribbon
Stickles
Pop Dots
Thanks for looking

The Great Pumpkin

This layout was done with Gypsy Wanderings, Walk in the Garden & Hannah Montana.

The supplies used were Reminisce(Autumn Burst) paper, Stampin Up cardstock, Stampin Up ribbon, Stampin Up gel pen (these are the best), stickles, and pop dots and of course I distress everything and for that I use Tim Holtz distressing products.

Please check it out and let me know what you think.

Directions and Supply information for Frame

The frame can be found at Michaels in the unfinished wood section for just a $1.00. I use my ATG (adhesive) gun and run it down the edges and around the small picture square and then the rest is just personal preference. Then I take and cut around the edges with my craft knife. (Don't worry about rough edges right now)

For the back of the frame and the edges you can either paint it or also cover with paper. Once I have the paper on it I then take my file (sandpaper) and sand around the edges to give it a distressed look.

BTW-the paper used previously was Webster's "Life's Portrait" (same as purse)

I then take my distressing ink and ink the edges. I find it easier to use a finger daubers with the ink. I feel I have more control over where the ink goes.(But again, personal preference)

Then just decorate. I added the Fabric-tac in the picture as a helpful hint when adding items like cording.

Thanks for looking.

Altered Purse & Frame

I love to alter items

This was a Bare Elements Maria Purse-Half Moon (made by Creative Imaginations)

I covered the purse with the New Websters Paper Line "Life's Portrait" and distressed it with Tim Holtz "Black Soot" distressing ink. All of cuts were made with my bug using "Forever Young" cartridge. A few items were embossed with my cuddlebug and various folders then give dimension using pop dots. And for the final touch on is the black cording purchased at Jo-Ann's.

The frame was covered the same way using the distressing ink and cording. (Frame was just $1.00 at Michaels)

Etching with Vinyl and my Cricut....

I etched these wine glasses for a friend. I used the Cricut cartridge Don Juan. The glasses read Naughty & Nice. I gave them with a bottle of wine. Yummy!!

Gotta love my Cricut-Tags Bags and Boxes

I used 12x24 papers and cut at the max size. I used some of
Stampin Up's beautiful christmas paper. Can you believe it the red and white paper is flocked...... I love this paper.
