"Happy 2011" Flying to my Goals & Blog Candy

If you are not coming from Everyday Cricut click HERE.  They has such awesome giveaways and projects..

I decided that I was not going to make resolutions since I am not great at keeping them.  So I have decided to make goals.  One of my goals is to "Be the best me I can be!"

I do not normally do 1 page layouts but only needed 1 page for my goals...

The paper used is "Echo Park-Be Mine" .  Cartridge's are "Fly" & "Birdcage"-Straight from the Nest.  "into" Lyrical Letters,  "2011" Hannah Montana

The flowers are prima and I sprayed them with Tattered Angels. The bling was put on with my I-Rock.  If you do not have one-GET ONE.  Awesome.

The ribbon was sewn on with my new christmas present from my awesome sister.  The paper with my goals on was distressed with my distrezz-it-all from my hubby for christmas.  I love my gifts...  Ok Now for pics...

Oh-Blog Candy-

"40 is Just A State of Mind"

One of my friends just turned 40.  I could not make it to her party but I made her this so she can remind herself that 40 is going to be awesome.

(I have to tell myself since I turn 40 in 2011-Yikes)

The book was precut by Maya Company... The cartridge used was Graphically Speaking.  Paper is Bo Bunny-Love Shack and of course some other little goodies to make it fabulous..

Enjoy!!

"Blog Hoppin"

Hello ALL-This is your last stop and I hope you like what I have made for you.

If you are just starting then you need to click HERE.  I think I am a little early (never happens)  so check back if hers is not up....

At this time of year I love to make tags....For these tags I used "Very Merry Tags"

I cut this tag at 5 1/2.  I used the Christmas Noel cart to cut the wreath for the reindeer's neck at 1 inch.

I could not find ribbon I was happy with so I made my own (I do that often)
I made the base brown and then used ATG to add ivory and green and POOF-I was now happy.

This tag was cut at 5 inches.  I inked, added white dots and pearls. Love it.

The punch I used for all the tags is from Stampin Up.  It is a great punch.

This tag was cut at 5 inches.  I just inked and used pop dots.  I then added just a piece of lace.

OK-Since you have made it to the end of the HOP....  I have some great blog candy......Ready,  Are you sure???

*December Daily*

Happy Saturday-Hope you are coming from Everyday Cricut.  If not-you have to go check out all the projects so click here.

I recently was chosen with several other fabulous designers to design for Iron Orchid Designs.  If you have not purchased any of this paper yet then you are missing out.  Check your local LSS or A Cherry On Top to order online.

Sally from IOD challenged anyone to do a December Daily.  Of course I decided to use her line of paper for mine and add a few cricut cuts to it.  This paper is called Night Divine.  This paper is fabulous...

I took this picture so that you could see the depth of the embellishments I used.  I put paper glaze on the butterfly and added a little bling.

A December daily is just like a journal for the month of December with a picture everyday. I am excited for the challenge.

Day 1

I would love for you to also take the challenge.  It will be fun to go back and read this next year.  Send me pictures either my email or facebook.  My email is wendylawrence@surewest.net.

This is my new kit "Snow Much Fun" You can click here  for more information.  This kit is limited.

Also as a tease for the local folks-I have some big plans coming soon for you.

Have a super day,
Wendy

Fun Cards

Ok-Lets get a little honest.  My cards are not always the best but I am trying.  Now to tell you a little secret-when I make cards I never give them away.  Not sure why they just do not make it to the mail box.  (I hate that)

Many times I have made christmas cards, addressed them, added postage and nothing.... They still do not make it to the mail box.  I am working to be better at that.

So with that said here are a few that I made.
I used the October 31st cart for these 2
I used Happy Hauntings for this one.  I wonder who I will send it to.....  If the Shoe fits...

Come back tomorrow and I will show you a pic of my family at the pumpkin patch last weekend.

Halloween Frame

My bestie gave me the "Happy Haunting" cart.  It is so cool...  I was looking thru the book and there was a sample of a frame.  So I decided to make it.  It turned out really cute.

I cut it at 6 inches.  The paper I used was BoBunny's Whoo-ligans. Love this paper.  I also used black tule and made a flower and sewed a button in the middle.

I added some white dots and bing-bang-boom you are done.  Make these for friends to add halloween pics to.

Happy Thursday!

***Boo Banner***

Hello All,

I have several items that I will be posting over the next week. (so stay tuned)

This is a banner I made for my fireplace.  I have to say -I Love It....
The letters were cut with George at 3 inches. The banner was cut at 7 1/2 inches.  I used a scalloped punch for the top and punched a hole to thread the netting thru it. The black netting was from Michaels in the wedding section.

I used Martha Stewart glitter around the edges and for the bottom later of the letters.  I also used black chalk ink to distress edges.  (Tim Holtz-My favorite)

Paper was from DCWV Halloween stack

I used the Stampin Up scallop punch to add the circle under the letters.
I also added a little bit of orange ribbon to give it a little color and it goes great with my pumpkins.
Enjoy!!!!  Come back for more.
